SOLGEN, the St. Olaf College Lesbian and Gay Employee Network, is an organization that promotes respect for all members of the St. Olaf College community, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.
What does SOLGEN do?
SOLGEN sponsors campus events to increase awareness of GLBT issues and organizes social events for its members. In addition, SOLGEN maintains a web site and an e-mail list for members to provide information about the organization, GLBT issues, and current events in society.
Who can join SOLGEN?
SOLGEN is an organization for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender employees of St. Olaf College. To join, please send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. Your name will be added to the SOLGEN e-mail list so that you will receive announcements about meetings and events.
If you are an GLBT student, there is a St. Olaf student organization, GLOW (Gay, Lesbian, or Whatever). For more information, see the GLOW website.
